The City of Sheridan, Wyoming will receive sealed bids for the East 5th  Street Infrastructure Project. These improvements are generally described as follows: This project consists of the installation of approximately 150LF of 16” FPVC bored under Highway 336.  The project also includes abandonment of approximately 260 LF of 10” cast iron water main under Smith Street Alley, between Main Street and Gould Street.

Sealed bids must be delivered to City Hall, Customer Service on the 1st floor, by 2:30 p.m. local time on March 16, 2017. The bids will then be opened and read aloud at the Conference Room on 1st floor of City Hall.

All bidders are required to accompany each bid with a bid bond equal to at least 5% of the total bid.  The bid bond shall be prepared on the form provided in the Project Manual, and shall be issued by a Surety authorized to do business in the State of Wyoming and acceptable to the OWNER.

All bids shall be submitted in accordance with and on the forms included in the Project Manual. Bids

A PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be held on March 1, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. local time, beginning in the Council Chambers on 3rd floor of City Hall, Sheridan, Wyoming.

Contractors, in submitting their respective bids, acknowledge that such bids conform to all requirements of Wyoming State Statute. Each bidder must include a bid security with the bid, payable to the City of Sheridan, in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders.

No bidder may withdraw its bid after the scheduled time of the bid opening.  Bids are to remain open for 45 days after the bid opening.  The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof, and to waive any irregularities of any bid.  The Owner also reserves the right to award the contract to such responsible bidders as may be determined by the Owner.
