The City of Sheridan, Wyoming will receive sealed bids for the Leopard Street Watermain Pipe Burst Project. The project is generally described as follows:
The Base Bid includes the pipe bursting and connection of 840 lf of 14” CIP watermain. The new main installed with the burst will be fusible 12” C900 PVC.
Sealed bids will be received at City Hall, Customer Service on the 1st floor, until 1:00 pm local time on 4/6/17. The bids will then be opened and read aloud at the Council Chambers on the 3rd floor of City Hall.
All bids shall be submitted in accordance with and on the forms included in the Project Manual. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to:

Planholders are parties that have downloaded the Request for Proposals Document. Planholders will be notified via email as addenda are issued. A PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be held on 3/15/17 at 1:00 pm local time, beginning in the Council Chambers on the 3rd floor of City Hall, Sheridan, Wyoming.
Contractors, in submitting their respective bids, acknowledge that such bids conform to all requirements of Wyoming State Statute. Each bidder must include a bid security, as well as contract security (performance and payment bonds) with the bid, payable to the City of Sheridan, in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders.
No bidder may withdraw its bid after the scheduled time of the bid opening. Bids are to remain open for 60 days after the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof, and to waive any irregularities of any bid. The Owner also reserves the right to award the contract to such responsible bidders as may be determined by the Owner.
Qualified Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) are encouraged to submit bids on this project. Bidders that use a subcontractor(s)/supplier(s) are required to make a good faith effort at soliciting DBE subcontractor/suppler participation. Bidders shall submit the required DBE Good Faith Effort Documentation form and other related forms with their bids. Pursuant to W.S. 16-6-106, “preference is hereby given to materials, supplies, agricultural products, equipment, machinery and provisions produced, manufactured or grown in Wyoming, or supplied by a resident of the state, quality being equal to articles offered by the competitors outside of the state”.
