Curbside Recycling is Underway!

The City of Sheridan launched its residential, single-stream recycling service on Aug. 3, 2015.  Follow the links below to learn more.

REMEMBER:

  • Trash & recycling pick-up occur on the same day – recycling is every other week, trash is every week
  • Your trash day may have changed, check the notification that was attached to your cart when it was delivered
  • Match colored stamp on cart lid with colored weeks on magnet to find your recycling pick-up week
  • Recycling is picked up in the same location as your trash
  • Place trash & recycling carts out by 6 a.m.

How to Recycle: Single-stream recycling flyer

Single-stream Curbside Recycling is a program that allows residents to place all acceptable recyclable materials into one blue bin and leave it at your curb for pickup every other week.

Recycling is good for the City of Sheridan because overall increased recycling will keep waste out of the landfill, delaying costly expansion. A successful recycling program will help keep waste collection rates as low as possible for residents in the future.
