The City of Sheridan is pleased to announce the renewal of the Utility Assistance Program for 2017.  City utility customers aged 65 and older, or those who are certified as disabled and have been accepted into the State of Wyoming Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP) for winter 2016/2017 are invited to complete the attached application for a 50% monthly reduction  of base rates for water, sewer, sanitation, and curbside recycling fees.

In addition to the application, please include the following items:

  • The document issued by LIEAP demonstrating your participation.
  • A copy of your certified disability documentation.


  • A copy of your driver’s License or other Federal Government issued identification confirming you are over 65.

Applications can be turned in at Customer Service in City Hall, or mailed to us  at P.O. Box 848, Sheridan, WY  82801.
