The City of Sheridan, Wyoming, will conduct a public meeting at 12:00 PM, local time, on October 19, 2017, in the City Council Chambers on the 3rd floor of City Hall. The purpose of the meeting is to allow citizens to review and comment on the following project: Sheridan North End Utilities project which consists of 11,000 LF of new 12-inch water main, 1,400 LF of 12-inch PVC sewer main and 5,500 LF of 15-inch PVC sewer main along Highway 338, Decker Road. The project will provide service to the area around the new North Sheridan Interchange currently being constructed.
At the meeting, the City of Sheridan will present the preliminary design of the proposed project and will discuss the estimated cost of the improvements and the plan for funding the improvements. A preliminary plan of improvements, cost estimates, and the funding plan can also be reviewed at the City of Sheridan, Customer Service Department, 55 Grinnell Plaza, Sheridan, WY. Based on current cost estimates, the City of Sheridan plans to borrow $931,000 from the Wyoming Drinking Water State Revolving Loan Fund and $1,306,000 from the Wyoming Clean Water State Revolving Loan Fund administered by the Wyoming Office of State Lands and Investments. No increased user fees are anticipated to repay the loan. Loan terms for the Drinking Water Loan are 2.5% interest rate and 20 years and the Clean Water Loan is 25% principle forgiveness and the remaining amount having a 2.5% interest rate for 20 years.
